Home cinema cables n stuff..?

Question

i just got a home cinema system.

just wondering how i can use it with my ps3 n my tv.

what cables do i need?

the amp or reciever (not sure what you call it) has one optical n one coxial port

um.. thanks in advance :)

If you have HDTV, connect HDMI cable from PS3 to TV and optical cable from PS3 to receiver.

The ps3 only has an optical out so you will need a toslink cable for the digital sound and you will need an hdmi cable if you have a hidef tv in order to get the hidef picture. If your home cinema has hdmi switching you could use the hdmi cable for both the sound and the picture . And yes there are optical extensions if you need a longer one. Ultralink Cables makes such an extension but it might be no cheaper than to buy a longer one.
