Question:

Home cinema system surround sound 5:1 not working on a DVD.?

It's a burnt DVD from my computer first of all.

Another DVD from my comp works fine and they've both been burnt the same way.

I get sound from all speakers except the two back ones, just fuzz noise from them.

When playing a CD or something I get all speakers fine. I've tried every sound mode, same problem.

My home cinema system is a Sony DZ230.

Anyone?

  1. It sounds like a bad burn or possibly the settings weren't right with the software. Make sure the 5.1 surround sound is enabled. Some software programs will have this as an option.
