  1. if you have a social life outside of any education centre than yeah go for it but if not then its a bad idea unless you prefer doing everything in your own space

  2. W/e you want

  3. Bad. Unless there are good reasons for needing to stay at home.

I was considering it last year, because im not confident and didnt want to go to college where there would be 'people'.

I spoke to my uncle who is a teacher, and he said home learning is a lot harder than actually going to college. You dont have as much support.

Anyway, now im at college im so glad i went, i cant image spending all my time at home learning alone, it would be so boring!

  4. Our friends have done most of their college studies at home.  They take AP courses and pass the tests.  They also get the material and text books for the CLEP exams -- study at home, pass the tests, pay the fees and earn college credit.  The youngest in the family earned enough  college credit from home to enable him to pass 2-1/2 years of college.  He is completing his final year of on-campus study and he only had to be on campus for 1-1/2 years.  It is very economical to do it this way.  The expense goes way down.

His 5 older siblings all approached college in a similar fashion.  One is a veterinarian with his own business, one is a research chemist with a doctorate, another is completing her doctorate to be a veterinarian, two are in graduate school studying nuclear engineering.

It takes a very strong study habit for someone to do it this way.  And it is definitely a very good idea.

  5. Oh I think it is the best thing since sliced bread. You can work fulltime and still do your schooling- it saves money and time-it is less expensive- it is accepted on jobs as long as it is accredited- less distractions from other dorky students- freedoms to truly learn at your own pace and time frame-saves on wear and tear on the car and gas money and also expensive food while you are at college- no major stress- no worry for your life (shootings and all)- saves your parents the cost.

There are just so many pluses to it.
