Do you have a mess? If yes, then it is an easy go to get clients. If No, then you can start home supply of food for bachelors especially the IT crowd would be intrested in it.

You can approach the IT companies around and contact people there and ask if they would be intrested in the food service you provide- you can also allow them to sample your food so that they can make a choice.

You can make small pamplets and circulate it- if people know the food is good they would surely make a bee line to your place  - to make this happen you need to place small ads - try freead and admag.

If you dont have a space to start a mess, then start with supplying food to doorstep of clients. It would be best if you live in areas with lot of floating population like outstation college students or bachelors working in IT. Print a simple pamphlet or even a post-it note and get the local newspaper supply fellow to insert the pamphlet or stick the post it on the newspaper in all papers supplied in ur area.. Other option would be dropping pamphlets urself directly into the mailboxes of houses in the locality where you know bachelors stay. If you can spare one room in such an area you can put benches and put a board outside about mess. Even that will get clients. I used to go to such home run mess before and they were very profitable.
