  1. I have made leadropes

    Haynets

    saddlepads

    nose-nets

    fly sprays

nameplates for doors ( and warning signs - "This horse bites !")

Also once made some halfway decent reflective bands for noseband and browband - problem was they didn't come off easily so once they got dirty I slung them.

  2. I make browbands :).

If you go here, you can find how to make them yourself: www.horsewyse.com.au/browbands.html

  3. I made a pillow. xD

I had an old horse shirt from when I was younger

so I cut it into a square and put stuffing in it.

    And I sewed i together. ;)

  4. I make cool halters, and treats as well. I make halters out of colorful strong ropey stuff: I use it on my own pony and he LOVES it! He used to hate his old halter and he used to rear when I put it on, but then I tried my homemade ones on him and he never threw a fit again! He also loves all of my different horse cookies, treats, snacks, and more. I don't make homemade fly spray, though.

    **edit**

I've also made leadropes, nameplates, and coolers. Also, I fancy up plain buckets, like color them and write horse's names on them all fancy-like.

  5. i know this doesnt really go for the horse, more for the person, but i make homemade Cherokee braided horse-hair bracelets. =]

    I'm Cherokee, of course lol.

    I love them!

    Do you want one??

  6. I made horse treats. I used an online recipe, but I can't recall from where I got it. You mix 1 and 1/2 cups of unsweetened apple sauce, 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of bran. Then you bake the mix in a 9"x 9" pan at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. You can add crushed mints or chopped up apples and carrots if desired.

  7. I find that Listerine or any other mouth wash keeps the mosquitoes away. They (the mosquitoes) hate it. And it makes your barn smell minty fresh as well! :)

Also, I give my horse Doritos when I can't find any apples or carrots. He loves the spicy ones!
