  1. just buy a box and go with that

  2. couldn't get over the box?

  3. 1st thing you need to round up all your snowboarding friends, if you have a bunch of peeps helping you, it will go much faster and you can have something nice nice in about a day or so. Make sure they all bring a decent shovel..,  : )

The eaiest way to go about this is, you want a hill to start on> If you dont have a hill to start on then it will be a little more work, but doable, check out my 360 page, that is a super small area and we were able to build a quater pipe and a nic jib.  If you dont have a hill to start on, your going to need to build a starting ramp, keep in mind the top of the ramp thing you build is going to have to be wide enough for you to bind in on the top. You may want to put a little salt on the top for traction or something so your not falling off it.  Now the easiest place to build a jump is on a flat plain, that has a hill on the backside, so that you dont have to build a landing, you can use the hill for the transisition, ya feel me... Depending on how good you are you want to build the jump probally like 10-15 feet from the hill so that when you hit the jump you are landing on the hill..  If you want a jump that is going to pop you, build the lip a little short, and make it kinda a little steep, if you want a jump that your going to have to ollie off ( recomended)  make the take off a little longer  than the length of your snowboard so your gettting the entire deck on the lip. Your going to have to beat down the "in-run" really good to make sure you have enought speed for your jump, the great thing about building snowboard jumps is that you can make it exactally the way you want, and if for some reason the jump you build doesnt work, tear the thing down and start again...   I can tell ya more but its betta if I know exacttlly what your looking to build .  Good luck shreder

  4. you'll be building the approach too?!

um....that would prob take you a very long time.....

  5. you could take a bus there?

but its really hard to make homemade jumps because me and my brother tryed it this year and its more work then you would think. so like i said u can get on a bus to the hill. they will usually pick you up at shopping malls.
