Home networking query?

hi guys

i have a bt home hub and at the moment i have 2 pc.s connected via ethernet cables (+ 2 wireless) however i wish to expand my network capabilities

can i use the Edimax ES-3108P 8 port 10/100M Desktop Switch(http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=152527)with the home hub,then do i connect one of the ethernet cables to the uplink port on the switch to give me a extra 8 10/100 ports

then can i use this cable(http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=1864) to connect from the switch to the pc ?

can anyone see any problems with this ?....any help will be much appreciated

  1. Sounds good on both counts.

    Uplink on switch to BT Home Hub via a standard patch cable is the normal method.

    PS: You need to leave a space between the URL and the "close bracket" symbol or your URLs don't work properly.
