My husband and I tried to have a baby for 9 months. I had my period May 29th, on June 24th, 25th and 26th I took 5 different brands of Home Pregnancy Test, they all showed positive. I am so excited. Called the doctor and made an appointment on July 2nd to confirm.

Since I was so anxious to find out for sure and doctor appointment is not till next week, I went to the local Plan Parenthood. 2 negative tests from them. I went home took one more my own First responds and EPT, both positive. Am I pregnant or I’m happy for nothing? Thanks for all your help!

  1. You can get a false negative but not a false positive. Congratulations! :)

  2. that makes NO sense, because they use the same kind of OTC tests that you buy at the store. maybe their tests are broken? LMAO I dunno! makes no sense!

I would go back a little later.

Did you ask them to do a blood test? first response and ept are early detectors. they detect at like 10 or 25 mlu and the test at planned parenthood might not detect until 100 mlu. Quite the possibility.

Wait a few days/week and go back.

    good luck!

  3. Sounds to me like you should get your blood drawn to have your hCG levels checked.  Your levels may not be high enough to register with the type of test the clinic used.  Your OB will be able to tell you.

  4. ok another way to tell if you are pregnant is to look for signs of pregnancy if you don noe them go to whattoexpect.com and on the home page if you scroll down there is thiz section that say are you pregnant? and it will tell you the signs that you should look for to identify at an early time if you are pregnant or not

hope that helps and gud luck!

  5. i would sy u are pregnant, but ull have to go to ur doc to confirm. some planned parenthoods do ultrasounds and they can confirm how far u are and that u are that way, oru can wait to go to ur doc
