  1. MY SON IS A SPITTER AND THE DR. PUT HIM ON ZANTAC AT 4 MONTHS OLD..I TOOK HIM OFF BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HELP AT ALL WITH THE REFLUX..I HAD TO CHANGE THINGS A BIT LIKE ONLY BURPING ON THE SHOULDER NEVER THE KNEE, SITTING HIM UP AND TRYING NOT TO HOLD HIM RITE AFTER A BOTTLE..IN THE END HE IS STILL A SPITTER.BUT I PROMISE IT GETS BETTER. MAYBE YOU CAN SWITCH FORMULA WHICH DID HELP A LITTLE (WE SWITCHHED FROM ENFAMIL TO GENTLEASE)

  2. All babies spit up a lot. If she spits up, but it doesn't seem to bother her, there's not much you CAN do about it. If she is crying before or after spitting up, and seems to be in pain, then she may have acid reflux and may need a different type of medication, or a formula change. I know this isn't really what you asked for, but like I said, all babies spit up, and there's just nothing you can do about it, other than raising the head of her bed, keeping her propped up for at least 10 minutes after eating, and try not to bounce her around a lot after eating as well. Good luck.

  3. My five month old has always spit up constantly. We switched from regular Enfamil to A.R. Lipil and it works wonders..hes not as fussy and barely ever spits up. Also try burping him more frequent

  4. Could be that the baby is lactose intolerant. If that is the case her mom should cut dairy out of her diet and you will see a great improvement.  There is also a very good possibility that the baby could be allergic to some of the foods that her mother is eating.  You have to remember that everything she puts into her body, her baby gets.  See about getting the little one allergy testing to find out what foods mama should avoid.  Its actually fairly common for this to happen.  Good Luck!

  5. Have you tried tilting the bed?  Tight swaddling?  (The pressure on their tummies helps.)  No rice, but more solids (like oatmeal, barley)?  Rice can cause upset tummies and not help.
