Question:

Home remedies for mild acne you swear by? ?

I have mild acne (right now only a breakout on my forehead and a tiny breakout on my jawline), but very dry and somewhat sensitive skin. I was wondering what are some home remedies people suggest? I've also read a lot about that aspirin mask. Does it really work, and does anyone know what the "recipe" is?

  1. Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.   Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.

  2. this will sound stupid, but tru colgate toothpaste, put a little bit on each pimple, it should dry them out really well

  3. I have the same problem but my grandfather got me the Wave it works wonders (don't ever forget to use it) he also got me a CLINDAMYCIN PHOSPHATE GEL USP, 1% by fougera and that gel also works wonders it got my acne gone in about 2 days... my skin is obviously not cleared completely in one week but it mainly did. =)

But if it's a home thing you want i suggest you:

    1. get a bowl

    2. squeeze a whole lemon

    3. add some sugar and stir it

    4. put some on the affected area

(do this over night... sun exposure might make some red spots appear)

  4. this actually works...

if you try to stop eating/drinking dairy it may clean up your acne.

my friend heard this from her dermatologist that if you cut down on your dairy intake it could clear up acne.
