  1. Go to regular school. I was homeschooled in elementary school. When I returned to regular school it was a shock. In addition, there is a study going on that home schooled children lack the number of communication skills as other people.

  2. Homeschooling isnt such a good idea in high school...High school is an important period of life that you develop social skills, find out where you belong, and make friends. It's better to just go to school rather than be homeschooled. Maybe ask your parents if you can be enrolled in some sort of private school. Hope this helps=]

  3. homeschooling sucks im in it. my ma annoy the h**l outta me. i have to teach myself. n plus no one else my age to hang with here

  4. My son is homeschooling high school right now, this is his second year.  He doesnt want to go back to public school because he has time to pursue his interests (music) and make his own schedule.  Government schools just want to create a well behaved worker.  Isnt high school a time to find yourself and figure out what you want to do with your life?  Why do you have to wait until you graduate to finally start living?  You really need to think about your passion and your home schooling revolves around that.  My kids are more socialized now than they ever were in public school.  Think about this, how is being in a class all day with a ton of kids the same age as you being socialized for the real world?  We meet and know people from all walks of life, from babies to elderly and geesh, we have no problem socializing with them.  If you home school, you cant hide in your house all day, get out and enjoy life, volunteer, join 4-H, get involved w/ HS group, take field trips etc.  You learn so much in life by doing and not by books alone!  BTW, you cant get good advice about home schooling from people who have never done it.  Most if not all colleges are fighting over home schoolers out there because their SAT scores are consistently higher than others.

  5. i dont htink homeschooling is such a good idea in highschool cause you willnot be excepted to most colleges plus who would want a parent teaching thhem

  6. I just started online schooling so your parents dont have to teach you. You have teachers online and everything. It is a little overwhelming at first but then you get the hang of it. I like it a lot better than high school cause you can go at your own pace it is flexible and you dont have to worry about all the distractions in the classroom. I kinda miss high school but i also hated my high school so much. They just didnt teach and i was so bored. I would look up online public schools where you live or talk to your parents and have them help you. Good luck.

  7. Home schooling can offer a lot of opportunities that you may not have going to regular highschool.  It also can offer a lot of missed opportunities.  Some of the positive things regarding homeschooling are. You will get one on one attention, you can set your own hours to study, learn, pratice etc, HomeSchooling done right can set you up with employeers in your community that pertain to areas in which you are studying,  On the down side, You will miss out of social activities, prom, dances, making friends, etc,

My nephew is also at highschool age. 16 years old to be exact,  He has been home schooled his entire life,  He did not want to go to a regular highschool so he has enrolled in JobCorps.  Job corps will help him get either his high school diploma or a GED whichever he chooses.  Once he gets that they will then train him in a trade coming from a small town it is hard to find opportunities.  Look into Job Corps and see what you think.,  I have to warn you though you have to be at least 16 years old to attend, you will live in a dormitory style campus,  there are also monetary restrictions.  Meaning your parents can only make a certain amount of money in order for you to attend.  Job Corps will actually pay you a weekly allowance, provide, food, medical, housing, entertainment, schooling, higher education , clothing allowance etc,  here is their website http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu5z.yp9HtC...

One more thing my other nephew also attended Job Corps.  He is now married with a 1 year old baby, he is working as a welder and is making over 2000.00 every paycheck (take home) He is only 20 years old.

    Hope some of this helps
