Moved to texas, looking to do online schooling

Sophomore, 16 years old

Okay I am looking to do high school online.

I found a site

It is only $395 when every body else is a couple thousand dollars.

What am I missing?

What includes with this $395?

Connections academy is for high school and its free,, You get credits and all that, you should try it : )

No where did I see them say they send you books. Do you have to buy them seperate?

It says the $395 is for tuition - but says nothing about books.

I don&#039;t see anything on this site that indicates Continental Academy is an online high school/homeschool program.  I see that you can enroll online, but it doesn&#039;t say your coursework is online.  I would suggest calling the number below to find out what is included with the program:

It could be that only the exams are online.

It&#039;s a &quot;get your diploma quick&quot; site.  I looked through the coursework, and honestly, the English 4 is similar to what my 10yo is doing right now; the math only goes through Algebra 1 (Algebra 2 and Geo are optional courses, though, and they seem to be on a 8th-9th grade level); my 10yo is working through a similar course to what they cover in American history (and probably going at a deeper level); etc.

It really looks like a last-chance site for high school dropouts.  I would be wary about this one - I think you&#039;d be wasting your money.  You&#039;d probably be really, really bored with your work.  This honestly seems to be a case of &quot;you get what you pay for&quot;.
