  1. There is no free virtual homeschool available across Texas.  Texas Virtual Academy (www.txva.org)is only available to those students who live in certain parts of Houston or the DFW-area.

  2. There is not always a free program but it can be done cheaply or near free. Call your local school system and ask if they have any older textbooks you can have. They have to give them to you not sell them and math, english, history, and many times science do not change. Neither does reading, spelling, or vocabulary. Go use your local library and search book stores that resale old books, yard sales, and thrift stores. Also some school districts offer an umbrella school for free. That is if you do not mind some governmental intrusion.

  3. Probably a good place to start would be to learn all you can about homeschooling. Read books, blogs, and websites. A good blog is "Spunky Homeschool." Search for that in google or something.

  4. theres an amazing one run outta texas its not expensive at all if u want more info email me

  5. You mean an online program? There isn't a free k-12 program in Texas. There is, however, a free 3-8 program in Texas. http://www.txva.org/  You would be considered a public school student, not a homeschooler.

Homeschooling in Texas falls under the private school laws. Anybody can set up a private school in Texas. It's free to do so. Of course, they're not going to give you books and such; you'll have to pay for that.

  6. home-schooling is not free!

  7. there might be one at umm...ur house?
