  1. In England & Wales  if your child has never been to school you don't have to do anything, if they are at school (or registered to go) you have to send a letter to the school (get it signed for) telling then to de-register your child.

    You don't have to buy any workbooks because home educated children don't have to use them or follow the National Curriculum or take tests. What they learn is up to you and them.
