  1. There's no reason for you to be nervous if you're totally prepared. Sure, there are some nerves present, but if you are totally ready, then you shouldn't miss questions even though you are nervous.

    So.

    You should try to prepare yourself for these tests.

    Make your learning a more rigorous course.

  2. just relax it is not the end of the world and depending on which country you are in and which uni you want to apply to there are always other options in getting into the course.

  3. Maybe it would help if you would do lots of practice tests. The more often you will do them the more familiar you will be with the tests and hopefully you won't "freeze" when you are doing your actual test.

    Good luck!

  4. Study harder.  I home-schooled all the way through High-School, and found I had to really hit it hard to fit in the material for college.

  5. Test anxiety is very common.  Try some relaxation techniques prior to testing.  Hypnosis works great for anxiety.  You could do self hypnosis or hetero hypnosis, could also help with information retention.

    There are lots of books out there on relaxation, so you can find something like that at the library.

    A simple technique is to take deep breaths, in through the nose and slowly exhale from your mouth.

    Good luck :D

  6. Well, this worked well for me in college and for my son when he went too-  When you are studying make a note card with the review questions written as a positive statement with the correct answer.  IE  Your review question at the end of a chapter may say something like;

    What year was the Declaration of Independence signed? a. 1812 b. 1929 c. 1776

    d. 1492     What you do is then write on the note card the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.   Study it that way. That way you study the concept and only the correct answer and when you are faced with a multiple choice angle the correct answer will jump off the page at you everything else will look out of place.
