Home theater people help me out!?

Question

I'm trying to set up a home theater system in my apt. and am trying to pick out a set of speakers and a receiver to buy. I have a TV and a Playstation 3 that i plan on using as a blueray/dvd player.

If i got this receiver:

what else would i need get my system working?

that is about all you need but i would not get that becouse the price of the speakers are way to high. i would get a home theater SET one that comes with speakes becouse they ten to work better. I have a sony 5.1 800 watt  home theater set and the bass is very good and so is the sound it was only        130$ on sale.    and I would not get it off line unless it was a big store like best buy or wall mart         O and pioneer is a very good brand and so is sony.  hop this helps

Speaker wire

2 x Optical Cable(PS3 to Receiver and TV to receiver)

HDMI cable(PS3 to TV)

Subwoofer cable(or any RCA cable)

If your TV does not have a optical out it may have a digital coax out. Just swap one of the optical cables listed above for any RCA cable.
