  1. (-6/5) -5/6x = -9/10 (-6/5)

    x= -54/-50

    x= 54/50 or 1.08

    First you multiply both sides by the reciprocal. Then you would solve.

    Hope this helps ^^

  2. The idea is you want to get "x" multiplied by 1.  Anything multiplied by 1 is itself.

    5 x 1 = 5

    3 x 1 = 3

    8 x 1 = 8

    3902843098 x 1 = 3902843098

    etc.

    So how do you change -5/6 to 1?  Well...-5/6 is a division problem.  It is saying negative 5 divided by 6.  The opposite of division is multiplication.  So multiply it by the flip of that.

    -5/6 x -6/5  = 1

    If we do something to one side of the equal sign, we have to do it to the other.

    -9/10 x -6/5 = 54/50

    x = 54/50

    That's 1  4/50,  or   1 2/25
