Homecoming dance questions?

This year I'm going to homecoming with someone. It's my first one, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

1.) What do I need to get, and what does he need to get? [Wrist corsage, boutonniere, garter - I know that at my school, those are the three things couples wear..]

2.) I'm wearing a black dress, so what color should they be? What color tie should he wear?

3.) For the wrist corsage, I have a bit smaller wrist.. Am I going to be okay, or will I need a smaller fit/safety pin it to make it smaller? Is it an elastic band that goes around my wrist?

4.) I'm wearing a one shouldered dress, how should I do my hair?

Thanks in advance. I'm totally oblivious!

Homecoming-- how fun!!

1) A wrist corsage and boutonniere is always classic and classy.  Another cool thing I've seen for the girls lately is a small satchel/purse-like bunch of flowers.  They usually have beads on them so you can carry it around your wrist.

2) Anything goes with black, but huge colors for fall are orange and red.
