Homeless in Dunedin, New Zealand?

does Dunedin have a very large homeless population?

No not really. I lived there for 11 years. There a few people who act like they are homeless, like Speedy. He is very often seen drunk in the middle of town with a plastic bag that he spins around pretending to be a helicopter. But no, most people who have low socio economic status are living in low rent flats or Housing New Zealand houses.

No, not many homeless in Dunedin. It's far too cold in winter to survive!

I don't think so. In fact, there's not many homeless people in New Zealand, total.

No Dunedin does not have a large homeless population - Auckland and Wellington will have more.
