Homeless people in sydney?

hey everyone,

im doing an assignment to promote how cruel this world was become, ie: the homeless people and how there are few that care these days... for this assignment i need to have background information and i think i've got everything except the most common street in sydney known for homeless people but because ive only just moved here and i dont actuly live IN sydney i dont know any streets.

can someone please help me.

  1. Try Central Station where the travel busses pull up. There are a few homeless there, but I wouldnt speak to them first without something like the Red Cross or the Salvo's in tow. Pretty scary. Maybe if you asked around some of the agencies that help these people out.


  2. There are homeless people living around the State library.

    in Macquarie street

  3. go to the wayside chapel in kings cross there are some older people who would be happy to chat with you but beware theyll get you to buy them food and lots of coffee! lol
