  1. Honey is a great remedy for acne and pimples because the honey kills bacteria. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

  2. Along with washing your face two times a day (Which is extremely important!) and not picking or touching your face, you must drink water.

I've been drinking around 64 ounces of water a day every day for about a week and a half and my skin is looking much nicer. Water flushes out your system, so to speak, by (regrettably) making you use the bathroom more. It takes away all the toxins out of your body. While drinking water alone won't get rid of acne completely, it certainly aids healing and keeps acne away.

Sites say you should drink about eight glasses of water a day OR half your body weight in ounces. For example, I'm 15 and 126 pounds. Divide my weight in half. You get 63. So I should drink 63 ounces a day.

What I do is I measure the biggest glasses I have in the cupboard. The biggest I have is a little under two cups. So I drink one glass in the morning, one in between breakfast and lunch, one after lunch, and two at dinner. This gives me plenty of water. Also, since water gets boring, I put a little cranberry or pomegranate or other fruit juice in the water to flavor it a bit. Yum.

Good Luck!Enjoy your holiday!  I think you should see results in about a week or two.

  3. I use asprin and water and spot it on the areas (make it into a paste) if i'm lazy i use toothpaste (not gel) to the area and sleep in it. I swear by clay masks though 2x a week if you can. A tube will last you awhile i use queen helene mint and it smells great!

here are some other great ideas esp. the basil tonic for acne sounds great!

remember to be using oil free products and washing your face 2-3x a day while you are breaking out. dont put your hands on your face and if you do touch your face wash your hands before/after. oils from your hands are the huge cause of breakouts! even just resting your hand on your chin while thinking will do it :)

clear up and have a great holiday!
