  1. I had much higher hopes for this horse... fairy gothic? If I found it on eBay, I would probably be pretty annoyed about so many senseless keywords tacked on. I guess I can kinda see, in a way... the tulle makes it fairy, and the grommets make it gothic. I suppose. Beyond that, it is not a very convincing horse plushie. Without being told, I might not have correctly guessed what species it was meant to represent.

Sadder yet, it took two people to assemble this...

I would feel better if the eyes were HUGE and black, more like a real horse's, instead of beady, blue, and disturbingly anthropomorphic. Also, a horse that was grey or black would be better. If you absolutely feel that the bondage elements are essential to the "gothic" look (in my opinion you would get more mileage out of black lace instead of pleather, but if you absolutely *must...), there should be at least twice as many grommets in the cuffs, so there is less empty space, and we see more than one or two pairs of grommets per ankle.

I would be suprised if anyone, anywhere would part with more than $15, including shipping.

If you were actually looking to make real money (and there is, in fact, good money to be made in the art doll world), instead of merely recouping some of the expense of materials, which I can't imagine was a substantial investment, I would expect attention to details more on the magnitude of this :

  2. i think it's really cute. u could prob. get like $10 for it. but u might wanna list it as something else on ebay so parents aren't hesitant to buy it for their kids.

  3. I think your horse is absolutely beautiful. I have sewn for years and it boggles my mind that you made this so beautifully. It's so hard to put a price on a handmade item but I'm sure it would sell. Have you ever considered selling on Etsy? You would probably get more for it than on Ebay. Good luck and keep up the great work!
