Homemade hamster cage???

Question

I am going to build a homemade hamster cage. I am 12 years old so i don't really wanna do all of the nuts and bolts hardware cloth stuff.

Would a bin with air holes (drilled) along the sides and all over the lid get good ventalation and sunlight??

I think it would but you know....

why dont you just buy a hamster cage?

Its quite hard to make one because you have to bend all that metal to make the caging bits.

Just buy a ten gallon fishtank at petco.  they only cost like $12.
