Homemade ice cream...?

How do I work chocolate chip cookie dough into homemade ice cream and have it spread evenly? I plan to use the basic vanilla recipe. Do I need to alter it in anyway when adding something? Is store bought dough okay or would it be better to mix some myself?

  1. when yo uget the ice cream to sof serve stage add thh chuncks you wan't and hard freeze.  


  2. If your useing a ice cream machine, fold in chunks of dough after churning, before freezing.

  3. Make your vanilla ice cream as normal but before it sets too hard fold in with a spatula. I would probably use store bought dough too but you may want to break it into little chunks and freeze them to ensure you get some hunks of cookie dough like you do in the store bought kind. You could try all different types of cookie dough too!
