Question:

Homeopath Remedies...?

I read that a good resolve for vocal nodules, as an alternative to surgery is homeopathic remedies. There is a list. I want to know if there is a difference between Hepa Sul and Heper Sul... or is this a typo. And is there a difference between Merc Sol and Meccur Sol... or is this again a typo? I'm going to see my homeopath but looking for some quick answers here. Any homeopath's available? Thanks.

  1. You can look up remedies online at:  http://www.homeoint.org/books/boeicum/in...

  2. Both are typographical mistakes.  It is Hepar Sulph. Of normal use in Tonsils, sore throats and boils, abscesses.   Mercurius Solubilis (otherwise known as Merc.Sol or Mercurious), of value in offensive discharges, gums and teeth disorders, dysentry with colic and tenusmus and the like, chronic infections and genito-urinary disorders etc.  Homeopathy should resolve your case. with best wishes.

  3. homeopath remedies? contradiction of terms. the basic claims of hemopathy contradict basic biochemistry, the body reacts to real chemicals not imaginary chemicals(the "remedies" are so diluted that the original chemical isn't even present in the solution, of course they claim in some way that "the water remembers" but the fact is that the body dosn't change due to water it changes due to chemicals binding to different locations, there is nothing in science that suggests a water can act like a different molecules based extreme dilution) and even then the chemical that they "use" causes the problem that you are trying to solve. so far medical research into homeopathy has shown that it's only good as a placebo(in other words a treatment that doesn't do anything than make the patient think their being treated, real medicine must get results above the placebo effect).

  4. Hepar sulphurius is abbrevited as Hep, or Hep.s,or hep.sul.,similarly Mercurius solubilis is abbreviated as merc.s or merc. sol.As such Hepa sul is actualy hepar sulpher and Meccur sol. is merc.sol.

  5. All homeopathic remedies are placebos, there's is no active ingredient in them. Don't waste your money.

  6. Vocal nodules do resolve through homeopathy, only it is not a self-help problem. It is important to see a certified homeopath with a 100% homeopathic practice, credentials and training. I mention this only because people have said they "did" homeopathy after coming to me, when they didn't. It is misunderstood and mixed up with other healing modalities, even by the practitioner. A lot of people think they're seeing a homeopath, when the person offering homeopathy has a similar consumer-level knowledge as the patient. In N. America, people certified to practice classical homeopathy are listed in http://www.homeopathicdirectory.com. Around the world, look for comparable qualifications.

Otherwise, the remedies you mention are probably the same ones, just different spellings. Hepar sulphuris calcareum and Mercurius solubis are their common spellings.

There's hope through homeopathy, although no quick "surgical" answers. I support avoiding surgery (barring a life-threatening situation). While seemingly "quick," the energy behind the vocal nodules is rerouted elsewhere, to appear as another (often more serious) health problem in the future.

  7. both are typo.
