Homeopathic?????????

If you are getting homeopathic treatment, can you take other medicine,like tylenol etc???

You should be fine, since only one of the 2 (tylenol) includes any actual active ingredients.

Homeopathic treatment doesn't actually change your body in any way so there is no harm in taking regular medicine at the same time.  It's just the same as taking medicine when you aren't receiving homeopathic treatments.

Yes, you are better off taking a prescription or over the counter medicine then another homeopathic remedy, especially if the remedy was given for your constitution, and not for an acute illness.

Sometimes though you shouldn't suppress certain symptoms like fevers, congestion, coughs, etc...

I would avoid the suppression of mild to moderate symptoms.  Severe symptoms such as a fever of 104 or greater of course would need some kind of medical intervention.  

Is this an old symptom that recently precipitated?

Always check with your homeopath though first, as new symptoms might be a "healing crisis" and allowing them to display will help the healing process.

In homeopathy one must go THROUGH the disease, not away from it.  It is quite contrary to what we are trained to do and believe in traditional western medicine.

Evidently one or the other is not working. Just take one at a time and find which is the true one.

As far as I know you can't mix alternative medicine with western medication, or you should take them at least 2 hours apart. However it's best you check with a doctor/nurse/pharmacist or even your homeopathic practitioner about this. One never knows how the two types of medication may interact with each other, so it's better to check with a professional first before taking them.

No No No!!! you can not take any sort of cough syrup, tylenol etc.  Not even coffee
