Homepage and saved data?

Question

each time i switch off my pc when i turn back on i seem to lose my chosen homepage and saved data does anyone understand whats going on

Are you deleting your login file after you login? Is your computer setup to cache all user information? If so, you will have to stop that from occurring by going into the system settings (which I do not recommend if this is your computer at work or if you haven't a clue how to do that without damaging your computer). Get a professional to do it for you if you want spend the money. It is too complicated to provide instructions over Y!A. You would need the ability to talk to someone over the phone that could guide you through the process. You also need to have administrative rights to the computer.
