when the shelf is full,it holds 36 jars of blueberry preserves. you are ordering on monday morning for tuesday morning delivery. the store sells 12 jars per day,there are 24 jars the shelf. if a case holds 12 jars how many cases do you need to order so that you can refill the shelf on tuesday.

  2. You would need 2 cases. The shelf holds 36 total, but you're already down a case, and by the end of Monday you'd be down 2 cases.

    36-24=12

    24-12=12
