  1. Yes, she can be homeschooled; just check into your homeschooling laws at www.hslda.org.

However, there's more to it than that - she needs to have an agent, which can be hard to get, and she's going to need to get experience.  My son was in the acting business in LA, and trust me, there are tons of drop dead stunning/cute as a button kids, and those with experience get first pick.  You have to be willing to go through a TON of auditions to even get a commercial.  (She'd probably be better off starting with some print work - even a Sears catalog or local ad shows that she's at least worked.)

There are also child actor laws to be followed, each state has their own.

If you're anywhere near the Twin Cities, have your parents get in touch with an agency, see what they think, but your little sis needs to know exactly what she's getting into, and she needs to be willing to work through the long haul.

  2. You don't say how old your sister is?Check with your local newspaper or public library if there are junior drama classes anywhere? The other thing you can look for is a local drama group or Repertory theater.I don't know where you live, but I'm sure you'll find something, as they say in the theater-Break a Leg.
