Homeschool v. sports?

If you are homeschooled in the state of kentucky can you still play school sports

  1. I also answered on your other question, but I'm repeating my answer here just in case you missed it:

    You can participate in team sports in any state.  There are many avenues for team sports outside of the public school system.  You can play in the rec leagues, at the Y, through hs sports leagues.  If you are really good you can play on a select or travel team:

    I know some homeschoolers play on public school teams - that was the route taken by college football player Tim Tebow in Alabama, as well as pro football player Jason Taylor (in Florida, I believe.)

    However, you have many other options to participate in team sports.  Have fun!
