  1. It is not your grades that are the determining factor.

It will be your attitude, and work ethic that will be the key element to success.

Anyone can go to college regardless of their previous schooling, you just have to pass the SAT, and ACT like any other college applicant.

Try a few community college classes first to see if that is what you want, other wise look into a skilled trade.

    Good luck.

  2. I know som1 in my choir which is homeschooled and he gets mixed up with 7&8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WTF

  3. this might affect the schools/colleges you can attend since high schools go by strict guidelines (meaning courses you have to take and certain exams you have to take; example CTBS, ACT, SAT)

  4. Usually colleges will require that you take the SAT and at least one other standardized test to show what you have or have not learned.  Since almost every home schooled child "graduates" with a 4.0 GPA, colleges can't rely on GPA. Hence the additional tests required.

Sometimes you can get around the additional testing if you first go to a Community or Junior college then transfer to a 4 year college.

  5. Most colleges are more concerned with the bottom line meaning SAT scores.  There are more and more colleges that encourage homeschoolers to attend their institution because they say homeschoolers are self motivated where public school attendees tend to be less self motivated.  If your parents keep track of the courses you tak you should have no problem with college.  As far as jobs are concerned if you have a college degree or are enrolled in college why should they care.

  6. It doesn't affect anything. It's how well you will work in your last years of high school, how well you do on SATs, how well you do in college, how much good character you develop that counts.

  7. well, for the reasons you are homeschooled you might be affected...

  8. Yea if you do good and get a high score on the SAT or ACT.

You will still have to take the college placement exams for math and English.  That means you better know your trig and geometry and factoring.
