Homeschooling Help.?

Question

Kids at my school call me Hoe and Stuff, And i'm fed up with it,

I keep telling my parents to homeschool me and they don't!

What do i Do !

I can't handle it ! :[

Well, you can either switch schools [recommended] or try homeschooling.

They're are multiple types of homeschooling: Umbrella schools, virtual schools, traditional homeschooling, tutoring-style, etc. the list goes on.

I am doing a virtual school, which you can find: flvs.net  They're are many of them and they are all in different price ranges, but many are free for certain states. Just make sure that you also look up your states laws and guidelines on homeschooling. [check here: www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp ] Just also remember that at some point your going to have to grow a tougher skin and ignore those kids. If it's really to the point where you can't take it, try something different like homeschooling. And also, I understand that there are some real idiots in schools. That's why I'm trying homeschooling.

It's unfortunate that you are having to learn that people suck alot of the time at such a young age.  Hang in there things change.  focus on your studies and know who you are or aren't.  don't let it get to you if you can help it cause it'll only get worse if you do.  I know.  I was a nerd in school but now I'm in the army and have lots of friends.  it takes time for people to see that they are wrong and if they don't see just don't talk to them.  good luck... keep your head up...

I am so sorry you are being harassed at school.  You have a right to live a happy life without emotional violence.

Here's the thing:  parents are weird.  (I can say that because I am a parent).  We respond to well thought out, reasoned, calm discussion.  We're just odd that way.

Get the book, read that chapter, and go impress your weird parents!
