  1. I dont think that it is . I do homeshooling. Loral springs home school is the  best. I think that  homeschooling is great because  can do your other activities and you get alot of help on what u need. u also dont have to  go to a school with mean teachers hahahaha

  2. No, it may be easier.  Colleges tend to like a diverse population and homeschoolers are appealing from that aspect.

    Good luck :D

  3. No - many universities look very favorably on homeschooling, to the point of openly courting homeschoolers.  If you've got the grades, the course selection, the test scores, and the outside activities to build the "package" that they're looking for, homeschooling is a plus.

Now, they're not going to accept you just on the basis of homeschooling or anything - they don't pick up an app and exclaim, "hey, it's a homeschooler, let's give them a free ride!" ;)  You have to qualify, just like everybody else, but homeschooling can be a very positive thing with most universities.

  4. No, it's more or less the same either way if you have a high GPA, good SAT/ACT scores, and a lot of extracurricular and volunteer activities on your college application.

  5. I highly doubt it.  Universities will look at the entire package, in terms of one's education.  A person can have a great education at a "traditional school" or a terrible one.  Likewise, I've know parents who did an absolutely amazing job homeschooling their children, and others who didn't.  You can also contact colleges/universities about this directly.  I researched this once (when I was considering homeschooling my son) and came to the conclusion it doesn't matter whether you are homeschooled or not, it's the quality of that education and the personal characteristics and experiences of the student that matter the most.

  6. No, it's not harder.  Universities think that homeschoolers are appealing in the fact that they are typically highly motivated and independent learners.  These are the people that will excell in a university or college atmosphere.  It is important to make a portfolio if you are homeschooled and keep good records of subjects studied and hours spent.  They will want that.

  7. I dont believe so. Homeschooling teaches ou more ofcourse depending on the teacher you get and they usually help you more because others dont slow you down and if you do need help you get all the attention. its all about the grades. and youll get good grades. they take care of the stuffs like sat and all that for you

  8. No actually I'm pretty sure you have a better chance of getting into a good university if you're home schooled then in regular public school. I'm not sure but that's just what I've heard.
