for 8th grade this year i attend home school

now that school is coming back i'm going back to high school

but before i do i have to take a placemnt test

i havent finish all of my home schooling and i wont

be able to take my placement test until october because thats when i started home schooling!

my concern is when october finally come

i would already missed my first semester of high school

and thats frustrating because i might have to catch up with all that work

is it possible that i could just take my placement test now or just go ahead and wait til october and take it...i'm going to contact my high school about it but i wanted to see what others could say or know about this..!

  1. What are you doing that you "haven't finished all of my home schooling"? Did your mom purchase a program? Are you doing an online program?

Regardless, you certainly don't have to wait until October to do the placement test; that just makes no sense. Just because you started last October doesn't mean you have to wait until this October--you are not obligated to homeschool for an entire year. Do as much work as you can from now until you start school--all of your English and math for sure. Consider forgetting the rest; you don't need to finish it. That's what placement tests are for--they don't care whether you've finished whatever it was that you were doing or not, they just want to know what to do with you now.

  2. You might want to check with a high school counselor and see what will be best FOR YOU.
