  1. Practically free (it cost me under $7 for one grade to print off!)...

There is a Yahoo group called 3RHomeschooling, based on classical education (such as the sites I just shared with you, plus others), and they LOVE sharing their free finds from the internet. :)

At my blog I have a lot of free schooling resources as well. It is not a debate blog, so please be friendly. ;) You're welcome to surf around!

  2. If you are having financial difficulties and need homeschooling supplies, check out www.booksamaritan.com.  They will provide you some materials free of charge.  Some libraries have a homeschooling aids section.  Also, you can get homeschooling books such as Alpha Omega Lifepacs as well as a wide variety of regular public school books, workbooks, and other homeschooling books at www.paperbackswap.com.  This is very cheap becasue you trade books that you have in your home (any kind, even ones you would throw in a yard sale for a dime) for the books you need.  No credit card required.

  3. VegSource homeschool swap is also a great place - if you know what you're looking for, they have a bunch of great deals.  Here's the link, just pick the grade level along the right hand side and start looking. :)

  4. Paperback Swap - all books free with credits you earn from sending others your books.  I've received brand new, $125 textbooks, plus all sorts of other curriculum items, there:

  5. I recently discovered a site called homeschoolclassifieds.com .  I've already purchased my science curriculum from there.  Saved like two hundred dollars!  Yay!

  6. The Book Samaritan will send you books for free and are accepting applications right now. There are also free online charter schools that provide everything for free.

  7. I'm sure the school district your in will provide them for a minimal fee. There's also virtual school, you dont have to pay for a book because it's online. Try that good luck.

  8. try what I use.

I get most of my used text books through them. Also have you tried www.half.com (its owned by ebay, but they mostly sell text & stuff, & there so much cheaper too.

    Good luck

  9. Your local school board will probably have a school book depository, and twice a year, they give away books for free,  now it wont be organized and you dont get to have exactly what you want,  but it works,  but think outside the box,  you dont have to have official school books,  you can use library books, you can buy used books from private schools,  in your area,  so think outside the box, it does not have to be so strict and rigid and formalized,

contact me if you need,   good luck ,
