  1. You can get out of it anytime you want; just as you could leave a public or private school anytime you want.

You do not have to have a teacher come to your house.  Your parents can teach you.

It is only as expensive as you make it.  You obviously have access to the internet which is a wealth of information.

It does NOT have to be through a church.  There are non-Christians who homeschool!

  2. homeschooling is bad. u need 2 socialise or u won't make it in the real world

  3. Have your parents talk to the school district about programs available. Any parent can teach their kids the basics and you can plug into many homeschooling programs including ones that can earn you a real high school diploma.

  4. Hey,

If you want to home school you can stop whenever you like.  With the one I use you don't have to have a teacher, your parent just help when you need it but you just work through work books at your own pace. Its not expensive either. The work books cost $2.70 a book and you normally do six at a time and that lasts you about four weeks depending on how fast you work. It is a Christian curriculum but you can still do it at home and at your own pace. The address is http://www.aceministries.com/Default.asp... Its really good and is worth looking into. I hope this helps.

    God Bless,

  5. The laws about homeschooling depend on the state you live in.  You can get out of it any time you want to, some states make you take tests every year to make sure you're staying at your grade level.  Your parents can teach you, some states require that they are college graduates and some don't.  It doesn't have to be through a Christian program unless you want it to be, a lot of homeschooling families are Christian so there are lots of resources as far as where they can get all their materials from, etc., but anyone can do it.  Your parents can find out from your school what they would be teaching that year and you can make sure you stay current with that, especially if you plan on going back there the next year.  With homeschooling you just have to take it seriously, have your set time for "school" every day and be very committed to it (both you AND your parents).   In some states your parents would have to write a letter to your school district because more than likely your family would be contacted by a truant officer or someone at first, there are also lawyers that specifically take care of homeschool issues, they charge a fee like around $200 and then your family doesn't have to deal with the issues with the school district, the lawyers will take care of any problems.  All in all it can be a good experience overall as long as your family takes it seriously.
