  1. you can look into independent study you just go to school for a couple of hours a couple of days a week that way you have support from teachers if you need it it's really easy

  2. I wish I was homeschooled cause the hs i went to was c**p.  Peers yelling, cursing, thinking they are cool by walking with a slant.  Try and fake an accent.

If I could do it all over again, i'll do everything in my power to be homeschooled.  But who would be teaching you?  I think you have to talk to the school's principal, if he doesn't know how he/she should know who you can talk to.

  3. First go to http://www.hslda.com and look at California's laws. Then look for charter schools that operate in your county. We are in California and there are several to choose from.  Do a search for California Charter schools.

I wouldn't recommend talking to the school you are enrolled at. Many public educators are not pro homeschool and they may try and talk you out of it.

    Best of Luck to You!

  4. If you would like to be home schooled the first thing I recommend is talking to your parents. They must be in agreement with it before you start. Next, your parents not you will need to go the school system to inform them that you will be home schooling. Then you need to order curriculum for home schooling. The key question is "Are you willing to make the commitment to be home schooled?"  Let me encourage you to talk to your parents and share with them your desire.  Then if your parents need help in getting started with home schooling, they may e-mail me through my web site listed below. Have a nice day.
