Homeschooling in New York state???

Question

I am coming toward the end of the year in homeschooling. My only problem is the standardized test I am supposed to take. The regulations mention that some certified is supposed to proctor the exam, does anyone know where I can find and hire this certified person??? I really need the help.

I've never heard about that. My mom has always given me the test, and my scores have been accepted.

In NYS the test I use is the California Achievement Test and it is legal for your parent to administer this test.  It is available through Setan  at a reasonable price.  I use this every year for my kids.  The site is below.  I am also including the Home School Legal Defense site for your future reference as it has valuable information on the regulations for each state.
