I am interested in becoming homeschooled or being part of one of those schools where you get your assignments for the week and just do it at home, then come in and turn it in. Are there any schools in San Diego like this? Halstrom High School ( http://www.halstromhs.org/ ) looks good, but it there anything else?

Thanks to anyone with information!

  1. Have you looked into CAVA?

    http://www.caliva.org/

I don't know if it's available where you live, but you can search the site and see.

  2. My daughter is a 9th grader in CAVA, and because it's an online school, she has classmates from San Diego even though we live in San Jose. It's worked out great for the academic part of high school. For social part you'll have to look to other sources: church, 4H, Scouts, volunteering, other community based groups.  Here's a good website for Homeschooling in California:

    http://www.homefires.com/ca_style.asp
