Question:

Homeschooling in texas?!?

I want to be home schooled and my parents are looking into it. But they are taking a really long time picking one. So does anyone have any good websites with home schooling middle schoolers in Texas? I was also wondering if it would be hard switching from public school to home schooling.

  2. Are they trying to find an online program? I'm not sure what you mean by "they are taking a really long time picking one." In Texas, if you are already in school, you simply withdraw from school and be homeschooled. You don't need to sign up with a program unless your parents really want you to. And even if you want to sign up with a program, you don't have to wait until you find a program to withdraw from school.

Check (and have your parents check) some of the homeschool groups listed here http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=c... . They will be able to tell your parents what they need to do to withdraw you from school.
