  1. It doesn't matter what you study-- what will matter is if you are able to pass the high school's test for 9th grade placement.

You might want to call and find out how to do this... and you might want to find out the scope and sequence of the middle school's 8th grade and make sure you are secure in the concepts.

  2. "Real" school?  I think you are referring to public school, which is really nothing more than a social event for the inept, not to offend.  Good luck there if that is where you want to go.

As to skipping ahead a grade, just take the finals for the current grade, if you pass, move on to the new material.  You can get an idea of what you should know per grade level for California from the STAR tests at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/sr/css05rtq....  Try taking the tests at your current level, the answers are there too.  You can even get an idea of what you need to know for next year.  Motivation and determination will get you there.

  3. It's too late to skip grades at this point, unless you are willing to spend 10 hours a day, or more, doing school work. You will burn out at some point. Especially since it sounds like you haven't been keeping up with your online school work.

Going to middle school first isn't a bad idea--it may enable you to make some friends who can be with you when you start high school.

  4. I don't know you can with on-line programs.  All you can do is accelerated work.

  5. Investigate your options. See if your online school has any summer classes, or they would be willing to accept credit from a program that does. You will particularly want to aim for finding math and science classes, given that they are more sequential than others. Then when school formally rolls around in the fall, take a regular course load, plus extra English, history, and other subjects required for graduation. It will demand constant focus, but if you're truly devoted to starting high school early, it'll be worth it.

    Good luck!
