Homestead Call expected to dominate the 500 metres race at Nottingham
Homestead Call is expected to dominate the proceedings in the 500 metres flat race at Nottingham, England, on Monday, April 2, 2012. The triumphant greyhound will walk away with a cash prize of £125 in this race.
A total of six runners will be seen in action in the race, scheduled to start at 18:44 GMT, and their names are:
Homestead Call,
Aghaburren Jim,
Miss Slick,
Salacres Smooth,
Topper Queen, and
Bringthemhome.
The bookies believe that it will be quite an easy task for Homestead Call to win today’s race, as she is in great shape at the moment.
She is used to the conditions at Nottingham, thus the punters will have full confidence in her abilities and will be placing a lot of bets in her favour.
P. Timmins’ trainee has got very good stamina and she enjoys running in the longer distance races.
She lost some momentum in her previous outing, finishing fourth, but has the tools to bounce back this time around.
The white and black b***h is the youngest of all participants, as she was born in April 2010, to College Causeway out of Homestead Crest.
On the other hand, Aghaburren Jim will also be one to watch out for.
He has been performing consistently over the past few months, but victories have dried up for him, which will discourage the punters from placing bets on him.
A. Grewcock’s trainee finished third in his most recent outing, which shows that he has the potential to deliver solid results and can challenge his rivals for race victories.
He has got good stamina, which will help him in today’s race.
The black dog is the son of Go Wild Teddy out of Minnies Ferrina, born in March 2009.
T. Munslow’s trained b***h, Miss Slick, is also a decent runner, but she has been unable to deliver consistent results over the past few months. She is normally good in short distance races, but lacks the stamina to win over 500 metres.
The seasoned b***h is the daughter of Ballymac Maeve out of Bling Bling Flo and was born in September 2009.
It appears that Homestead Call has the best chances of winning at Nottingham today, as the rest of the runners are struggling for form.
