Homestead Call likely to dominate Betfred Maiden Standard Trophy – Final
Homestead Call is expected to dominate proceedings in the Betfred Maiden Standard Trophy – Final at Nottingham in England on Monday, August 13, 2012. A victory in the Grade OR event will earn him a cash prize of £300.
The 500 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 21:22 GMT and it will definitely catch the attention of the spectators today.
Although, everyone would like to see an exciting race, it seems that this will not happen in the end because of the dominant form of Homestead Call. She has been delivering top class results with consistency and it will be extremely difficult to prevent
her from taking the top spot.
The P. Timmins’ trainee first came onto the scene in December 2011 and took part in just a couple of solo runs back then. It was difficult to judge her performance on that basis, but there were clear signs that she could be extremely competitive in the future.
In 2012, the white and black b***h started off nicely with some success in a couple of T3 events. Her first competitive run was in a Grade A3 event, where she was rated as the favourite to succeed.
However, things did not work out as planned for the young b***h and she had to settle for the runner position in the end. She was badly crowded during the race, but still had the speed to finish strongly.
Homestead Call followed that up with three successive victories, which gave her immense confidence. Her team decided to test her in a Grade OR event, but she failed to deliver at this level back then.
Despite that, College Causeway’s daughter out of Homestead Crest did not lose confidence and kept on performing brilliantly at different levels. Out of her previous five outings, she has finished on top on four occasions, which clearly shows what she is
capable of.
The talented b***h ran in a Grade OR event recently and was declared as the outright favourite for that race. She did not let her team down and secured a comfortable victory by three and a half lengths. If she repeats a similar show today, it will be her
fourth consecutive win in the sport.
