As the two fighters stepped inside the UFC octagon fighting cage, the Canadian MMA and UFC supporters gave a resounding welcome to Bocek, the home town MMA fighter. With the first round in progress, the two fighters began with
their assault but the Canadian fighter was on top and aggressive. Bocek gave some strong punches which was something Lentz did not expect so early in the fight. Lentz was placed against the cage as Bocek went on with his strikes.
Lentz countered and went for the submission move, the guillotine choke, but Bocek did well in countering the move. The two fighters then threw some punches. The first round was coming to a close as Bocek gained some momentum and
went with the attack. Bocek was moving in with his punches as he gained a clear advantage over Lentz. The Canadian was in search for a submission or a knock out but he could not get an opportunity as the first round ended.
The second round was in favour of Bocek as he gave some strong punches. He went for a takedown move but the attempt was not done with force and Lentz keeps standing. Lentz was then taken down but he wastes no time in holding Bocek
tightly in his legs. This was the opening for a submission move which Lentz was looking at but Bocek was able to come out of the hold.
Bocek went for a successful takedown as Lentz is placed on the mat with force. The American MMA fighter managed to lock Bocek in his guillotine choke for a possible submission. Bocek was not going to lose this easily as he again
forced himself out of the submission lock. The second round also ended with both fighters on their feet.
With the third and last round in progress, the Canadian MMA fighter, Bocek, is able to take down Lentz one more time and starts his offensive attack. The spectators are loudly shouting and chanting Bocek’s name. The home crowd
advantage was in favour of Bocek and he was able to utilize the support.
