Is your hometown where you were born or where you grew up?

  1. ****I consider my hometown as the one where I grew up and stayed the longest.  You could be born on a boat crossing the ocean (as one of my ancestors was) but that wouldn't be your "hometown."

    Childhood memories make one's hometown. . . . hence the word "home" in hometown!


  2. I consider my hometown where i am now. I was born in berlin, but Im not german or anything.

    my dad's job moved us all over the world while I was growing up, so I never had a certain place where I felt like home.

    the city I live in now (I've lived here two different times) I've lived in for three years now, and three years the first time I was here, so that's the longest I've ever been anywhere.

  3. id say where you grew up but it depends how long you lived in the place you were born but i would still say where you grew up.
