  1. You are probably referring to Cuba.

    Directly east

Sometimes the Caspian Sea is actually referred to as the lake, which would then make it the largest in terms of surface area (152,239 sq mi). Otherwise it would then go to Lake Superior (31,820 sq mi). Lake Baikal in Russia, however, is the largest volume fresh water lake in the world (5,700 cu mi) not counting the Caspian Sea (18,800 cu mi).

It's very hard to classify what the smallest lake in the world is because there really is no clear distinction between a pond and a lake at that point.

And to the person above...Roe River was named the smallest RIVER, not lake.

  2. The large Island Nation is Haiti

Lake Ontario is South from Lake Michigan

The largest lake in the world is "Lake Wakatiti" and the smallest lake in the world is "Lake Erie"

no really, everyone else is lying....>__>

  3. Cuba

    North

World's Largest Lake (by surface area):

The salty Caspian Sea has the greatest surface area of any lake at 143,200 square miles (370,886 square kilometers). Lake Superior, on the United States/Canada border is the freshwater lake with the greatest surface area at 31,700 square miles (82,103 square kilometers).

    World's Largest Lake (by volume):

The salty Caspian Sea is the world's largest land-locked body of water. It contains approximately 18,900 cubic miles of water (78,700 cubic kilometers).

Lake Baikal is the world's largest freshwater lake in terms of volume. It contains about 5521 cubic miles of water (23,000 cubic kilometers), or approximately 20% of Earth's fresh surface water. This is a volume of water approximately equivalent to all five of the North American Great Lakes combined.

The Roe River in Great Falls, Montana is the smallest lake in the world, which is only 201 ft. long. The D River is 440 ft. long.

  4. 1. Cuba

       Smallest - Roe River
