Homework Question... ughh... :(?

Okay, I started school today and I am in Earth Science Honors.... and I already have homework! :(

The question:

List an event that could happen on Earth that would involve ALL 4 fields/branches of Earth Science. (the fields/branches are Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology, and astronomy.)

first one that comes to my mind would be a large asteroid or meteor crashing into the earth's crust. One the size that caused Yosemite national park would have repercussions world-wide

A gigantic meteor from space comes crashing down into the ocean and creates a tsunami. Scientists wonder how old this meteor is, what it's made of, how much force it took to create the tsunami, and other specifics to verify that it is a meteor.
