Okay so for my homework i need to say what this quote means..

Cautious, careful people, always casting about to preserve their reputation and social standing, never can bring about reform. (Susan Brownell Anthony, 1860)

  2. cautious,careful people, always casting about to preserve thier reputation is true, if you put it or reflect on a person that only cares about it's image then it's true because a person that nly care about it's image is very cautious and careful about it for the person doesn't want to be humiliated. and social standing, never can bring about reform, if you put it in a simlpe sentence it goes like this " aocial standing cannot be reform" it means like in political aspects when politicians are on thier position thier are things that they do that normal people cannot redo it or remake it for they do not hold the power. other example like in family thier are family member who abuse thier position in the family just because thier older.also like in class positions, comunity positions, and also in age position just because thier older they control you. it's not bad that they control you it's just that they are abusive that the younger person cannot change thier attitude or point of view. i hope this is enough for your explanation in your homework.(",)
