  1. 52 pieces total

    25 percent cherry, so 1/4 of the total = 13 pcs

    5/16 grape (I just simplified 10/32) so take 52 divided by 16 and then multiply the answer by 5 to get 5/16 which = 16.25 (i don't personally know how you get a quarter of a piece of skittle, but whatever...

    .5 are orange, so that is half... = 26

    26 + 13 + 16.25 =

    Wait.... something is wrong here. You must have the 52 pieces wrong or something because the percentages that you have come out to more than 100%

  2. .25 x 52=13 cherry      subtract the cherry 52-13=39

    10/32 x 39= 390/32 or 12.1875 round this to 12 grape  39-12=27

    .5 x 27=13.5 round this to 14 orange

    27-14=13 lemon

    check: 13+12+14+13= 52 pieces of skittles

  3. Cherry = .25 x 52 = 13

    Orange = half = 26

    There are 13 left for lemon and grape

    Something wrong with the number given for graph since 10/52 of 52 are 16

  4. .25(cherry)+.3125(grape)+.5(orange)= 1.0625

    1.0625-1= -.0625

    Based on the facts given, there are a negative number of lemons.

    Something is wrong with them, as the cherry, grape, and orange percentages add up to be more than 100%.

  5. i'd convert them all the percentages and and when you find the percentage of the lemon convert that to decimals and fractions to give a complete answer
