Another math problem lol... simplifying radicals!

( 3 x radical2 )^3

What I'm trying to say is that... inside the parenthesis is 3 times radical two (square root sign with a two under it)... then that entire thing is cubed.

A breakdown of the solution anyone, please?

If you find it confusing, leave an answer. I'll add more details asap so you can refresh and get a clearer view...

  1. You simply apply the "cubed" operation to everything inside the brackets :

    (3 x √2)^3  =  3^3 x (√2)^3  =  (3 x 3 x 3) x (√2 x √2 x √2)

    which  =  27 x 2√2  =  54√2
